Christmas/Holiday Events 2022

The following Christmas/holiday events scheduled for Mason and Oceana counties have been reported to Mason County Press and Oceana County Press. Friday, December 2

Saturday, December 3 

  • Manistee Victorian Sleighbell Parade & Old Christmas Weekend, downtown Manistee. Parade at 5:30 p.m.  Click here for all events.
  • Caroling on the Green, Village Green, Pentwater, 3 to 6 p.m.
  • 20th Annual Tiger Bazaar, Shelby High School Gym, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Craft and vendor sale. Live music and concessions. Free entry. All proceeds go to the Shelby cheer program. Over 55 booth spaces sold. More available. Contact Sarah Schaner, schas@shelby.k12.mi.us.
  • Craft Fair, Scottville Area Senior Center, 140 S. Main St., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday, December 4

  • Christmas in the Village, Free Soil Community Center, 8480 N. Democrat St., Free Soil, 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, book give away, build with a hero, face painting, games, gift bags, mitten tree, cookies and punch.

Saturday, December 10

  • Santa’s Workshop, Floracraft, Ludington, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free event.
  • Scottville neighborhood Christmas parade and downtown celebration, 6:30 p.m.
  • Santa Truck at Fountain Area Fire Department, Fountain, 6 to 8 p.m. Cookies, hot chocolate and coffee. Santa will be coming at 6:30 p.m. on a fire truck. Sponsored by Fountain Area Fire Department Auxiliary.
  • Caroling on the Green, Village Green, Pentwater, 3 to 6 p.m.

Saturday, December 17

  • Caroling on the Green, Village Green, Pentwater, 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Horse and wagon rides, Pentwater, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Holiday History on Hancock, Pentwater, time to be announced.
  • Bonfire on the Village Green, Pentwater, time to be announced.

Saturday, December 31:

  • Pentwater New Year’s Eve in the Village, 11 p.m. to midnight. Bonfire, music, noise makers; BYOB in marina only; fireworks at midnight.
