Barnett to become next Ludington mayor
LUDINGTON — Former Ludington police chief Mark Barnett will become the next Ludington mayor. According to unofficial results, Barnett defeated incumbent Steve Miller 2,029 to 1,398 (58%). Barnett served as police chief of the city for 19 years, retiring in 2020. Miller was elected mayor in 2018 and will end his term on Dec. 31.
