Be kind at the polls
The General Election takes place Tuesday, Nov. 8 with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mason County Clerk Cheryl Kelly said she wanted to remind voters to be kind to the election workers.
“Many hours of training, setting up, and education have gone into preparation for this election, please be nice to the workers,” Kelly said.
“These folks put in long hours to make elections run smoothly. Without the help of my “Election Army” it would be an extremely long day. It goes along with the old saying ‘It takes a village to raise a child.’ It takes a lot of great election inspectors to help work the elections and Mason County has some amazing inspectors.”
