Teen arrested in connection to stolen Jeep.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 17-year-old Chelsea, Michigan man was arrested after Mason County sheriff’s deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call Sunday, Oct, 30, shortly before 10:30 a.m. in the 11000 block of North US 31, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“The caller had reported an occupied vehicle parked in his driveway,” said Sheriff Cole. During the investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle — a 2015 Jeep —was reported stolen out of Grand Traverse County.

- 12:09 p.m,. gas drive-off, $24.65 in fuel stolen, Airport EZ Mart, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
- 6:53 p.m., larceny, 800 block of North Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township. The complainant reported an unknown amount of cash was stolen from a cash box in his yard for selling wood.

- 7 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Main Street, Village of Custer.
- 7:59 p.m., gas drive-off, $33 in fuel stolen, Airport EZ Mart, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
- 10:20 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Meyers Road, Amber Township. A 52-year-old Scottville woman was cited for no operator’s license following the crash.
Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022:
- 4:39 a.m., alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
- 6:18 a.m., attempted breaking and entering, 400 block of South Tyndall Road, Branch Township. The complainant reported seeing two people attempting to break into a barn.
- 7:20 a.m., breaking and entering, 3200 block of North Amber Road, Victory Township. The complainant reported someone had reportedly broke into a residence.
- 10:10 a.m., gas drive-off, $40.03 in fuel stolen, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
- 5:42 p.m., domestic violence, James Street, City of Scottville. A reported will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office following a 911 call reporting a domestic violence call in reference to a 46 year-old Scottville man.
- 6:35 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road north of White Road, Grant Township.
- 8:46 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Benson Road north of US 10, Branch Township.
- 8:48 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Shagway Road east of Grace Road, Hamlin Township.
