VIDEO: MCP Kids: Visiting Christoffersen Farm
Editor’s Note: Ever since our kids were babies we have had a year tradition of visiting Christoffersen’s Farm in Riverton Township to pick apples and photograph our kids. Our daughters, Avoca and Sloane are now 9 and 8. This year, Avoca wanted to take pictures and gather some information on Red and Colleen Christoffersen and their farm. She informed me that I needed to start a special section of MCP just for kids and she named it MCP Kids. I’m not sure how often we’ll post something, but here is the debut of MCP Kids. Also, last weekend Christoffersens closed the farm for the season and donated the remainder of their apple crop to the Lakeshore Food Club. – Rob Alway, Editor-in-Chief.
