PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 27-year-old Kalamazoo man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for smashing the windshield, passenger side window and the interior of a 2010 Hyundai Elantra that belonged to an ex-girlfriend Wednesday, Oct. 19, shortly after 9:30 p.m. at the Comfort Inn on West US 10, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The man was charged with damaging property and lodged in the Mason County Jail.
