Threats with folding knife lead to felonious assault arrest.

LUDINGTON — A 29-year-old Ludington man was arrested for felonious assault following an argument in the 200 block of West Ludington Avenue Thursday, Oct. 13, shortly after 8:30 p.m., according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department.
“The 29-year-old used a folding knife to threaten a 51-year-old Ludington man,” said Cpt. Wietrzykowski. No injuries reported. “The victim knew the man, who lived in the same building, but does not know him personally.” The offender was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022 includes:
- 6:08 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Schoenherr Road north of Decker Road, Sheridan Township.
- 7:45 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Beyer Road, Sherman Township.
- 10:51 a.m., a 32-year-old Hersey, Michigan man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant issued in Lake County, 9500 block of East US 10, Branch Township.
- 7:16 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Ludington rest area, Summit Township.
