Cocaine possession arrest tops police activity.

LUDINGTON — A 55-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Ludington police officers for cocaine possession and for two outstanding Mason County warrants Tuesday, Oct. 4, shortly before 10 p.m. at the intersection of Delia Street and Ludington Avenue, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department.
One warrant was for malicious destruction to property, and the other was for methamphetamine possession. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
The following is other police activity in Mason County Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022:
- 2:52 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.
- 5:20 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of Conrad Road, Amber Township.
- 6:08 a.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $56.49 in fuel stolen, Scottville EZ Mart, 400 block of East US 10, Custer Township.
- 7 a.m., (LPD), a 46-year-old Manistee man was arrested in Manistee County by MCSO on an outstanding aggravated stalking warrant issued by the 79th District Court. He was transferred to LPD custody at the county line and lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 3:50 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Main Street, Village of Custer.
- 11:27 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Fisher Road, Hamlin Township.
