Love triangle fuels stabbing.
LUDINGTON — A 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested for aggravated assault and battery for stabbing a 24-year-old Ludington man in the arm with a knife Thursday, Sept. 15, at 4 a.m. at a Pine Street and Jackson Road, said Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department.
“The stabbing happened following an argument about a woman they both had a dating history with,” said Cpt. Wietrzykowski. “The suspect was treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for self-inflicted knife wounds to the arm and lodged in the Mason County Jail. The 24-year-old victim refused EMS on scene. It is unknown if the victim sought treatment at a later time.”
