PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A pair of vehicle crashes Monday, Sept. 12, resulted in minor injuries.
The first crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at the intersection of US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway when a 47-year-old Ludington man suffered a medical emergency, and his vehicle struck a pole and a parked vehicle, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. He received minor injuries.
The second crash occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on US 10 west of Meyers Road when an 81-year-old Ludington man’s vehicle collided with a vehicle that had pulled out of a private drive and into his path, said Sheriff Cole. The 81-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
The following is other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Monday, Sept. 12, 2022:
- 6:36 a.m., damaged property, 5000 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. The complainant reported that the back window of his vehicle was broken out.
- 8:03 a.m., a 23-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, US 10 west of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
- 4:02 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township.
- 5:08 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Brye Road, Riverton Township.
