The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, Aug. 29, 2022:
- 12:22 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, 200 block of South Bean Street, City of Scottville. The case remains under investigation.
- 8:19 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Shagway Road, Hamlin Township. The driver struck a tree that was down in the roadway.
- 8:29 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road south of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
- 5 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of Reek Road, Custer Township.
- 5:10 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, 800 block of Dunbar Road, Branch Township. The case remains under investigation.
- 9:15 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 23-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic assault, 900 block of North Emily Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail. The victim — a 29-year-old Ludington man — was not injured.
