PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a counterfeit money complaint at Wesco Eastgate on West US 10, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

A fake $100 bill was passed at the convenience store Friday, Aug. 12, shortly after 4:30 p.m., said Sheriff Cole.

Friday, Aug. 12, 2022:

• 6:35 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/turkey crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Freeman Road, Free Soil Township.
• 7:11 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 21-year-old Fremont man was arrested on four outstanding warrants, US 10, Amber Township.
• 9:25 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Decker Road, Custer Township.
• 11:18 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Decker Road west of Sherman Road, Hamlin Township.

Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022:

• 2:18 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 43-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Lakeshore Drive and Jagger Road, Hamlin Township.
• 4:33 p.m., (MSP), a 24-year-old Twin Lake man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, Campbell Road, Branch Township.

Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022:

• 7:57 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Sherman Township.
• 8:25 p.m., (MCSO), a 34-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a one-vehicle rollover crash, Dewey Road west of Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township. No one was injured.
• 10:32 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Bradshaw Road east of Benedict Road, Pere Marquette Township.
