AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 35-year-old Scottville man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine after a report of the subject acting strangely during a traffic stop at the corner of Johnson and Dennis roads Wednesday, June 22, around 10 p.m., according to Chief Deputy Oscar Davila of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.

- 10:17 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, US 31 near Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
Thursday, June 23, 2022:
- 2:28 a.m., (MCSO), a 28-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving with a suspended license (DWLS) after a traffic stop, Robert and Haight streets, City of Ludington.
- 12:28 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 42-year-old Ludington woman and a 36-year-old Ludington man were arrested for domestic assault and battery, 200 block of East First Street, City of Ludington. The victim — a 25-year-old Scottville man — received some scratches on his neck, arms, and hands. The suspects were not injured. No medical treatment was sought by the victim. The suspects were lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 5:52 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, Scottville Shell gas station, City of Scottville. It was reported that a gray KIA driven by a white female suspect pumped gas and drove off without paying.
