Family Health Care warns of Medicare scam
BALDWIN — Family Health Care is warning its patients of a Medicare scam. Several patients of the local health center have received phone calls from someone claiming to be with Medicare. The caller is asking patients to verify their Medicare information over the phone.
Family Health Care reminds patients to never give out personal information to a caller such as Medicare or Social Security number, bank information, or credit card number. If a caller is asking for personal information, hang up immediately and call the telephone number on your insurance card to determine whether the call is authentic.
