HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 31-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for possession of methamphetamine after he was found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle Sunday, April 10, shortly before 7 p.m. in the 3600 block of North Jebavy Drive, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Friday, April 8, 2022:
- 6:33 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Main Street, Custer Township.
- 8:35 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer and Powers roads, Custer Township.
- 9:07 a.m., (MCSO), a 23-year-old Scottville man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, Main and State streets, City of Scottville.
- 9:52 a.m., (MCSO), a 31-year-old Custer man was arrested on three outstanding failure to appear warrants — two issued by the Michigan State Police Hart post and one issued in Grand Traverse County — US 10 east of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
- 7:22 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 41-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS, Rath Avenue and Pere Marquette Highway, City of Ludington.
- 9:21 p.m., (LPD), a 61-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Loomis Street and Washington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Saturday, April 9, 2022:
- 12:47 a.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Muskegon woman was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop, US 31 and Decker Road, Custer Township.
- 2:15 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property, 2000 block of East Wilson Road, Custer Township. The complainant reported their church parking lot was damaged by a vehicle spinning doughnuts
- 2:21 p.m., (MCSO), fraud, Sheridan Township. “The complainant reported ‘purchasing’ a dog online with a down payment of $250. When attempting to pick up the dog at a residence in Ludington, they learned the sale was a scam,” said Sheriff Cole.
- 3:41 p.m., (MCSO), a 54-year-old Scottville woman was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop, Main and State streets, City of Scottville.
- 4:07 p.m., (MCSO), a 33-year-old Scottville woman was arrested on an outstanding Van Buren County Friend of the Court warrant when she attempted to visit an inmate at the Mason County Jail, City of Ludington.
- 7:44 p.m., (LPD), a 25-year-old Oak Hill, Virginia man was cited for driving without a driver’s license, James and Filer streets, City of Ludington.
- 10:01 p.m., (LPD), a 31-year-old Ludington man was cited for DLWS and open intoxicants, Rath Avenue and St. Mary Parkway, City of Ludington.
Sunday, April 10, 2022:
- 11 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Dewey Road east of Amber Road, Victory Township.
