Scottville Recreation Ball registration occurring. 

SCOTTVILLE — Scottville Recreation is holding a series of summer ball round-ups at Spartan Community Field near the Middle School. Parents interested in registering their children for t-ball, baseball or softball are encouraged to attend. 

The remainder of round-ups are as follows: 

• Monday, April 4, 6 to 7 p.m. 
• Wednesday, April 6, 6 to 7 p.m. 
• Saturday, April 9, 9 to 10:30 a.m. 

The Scottville Recreation program is administered by Mason County Central Schools and is open to all county residents. 

Age eligibility: (the grades listed are for the 2021-2022 school year). 

• T-ball, boys and girls grades kindergarten through second grade Pony League, girls in third and fourth grades. 
• Mites League, boys in third and fourth grades. 
• Elementary League, girls in fifth and sixth grades. 
• Junior Ages, boys in fifth and sixth grades
• Junior High League, girls in seventh and eighth grades.
• West Shore League, boys in seventh and eighth grades. 

Registration fee is $40 for all leagues. Fee includes participation, hat and t-shirt. 

As an alternative to attending a round-up, parents may mail a copy of the registration form to Scottville Recreation, Mason County Central Schools, 300 W. Broadway Ave., Scottville, MI 49454. 

All registrations made after the deadline of April 20, 2022 will not be guaranteed placement on a certain team and are subject to a $10 late fee. If placement is possible, late registrations will be placed in a lottery for team placement regardless of whether or not the child played the previous year or has requested a specific team.
