LUDINGTON — The Ludington High School Girls Varsity Basketball Team is heading to the state semi-finals Friday at Michigan State University in East Lansing. The Orioles will splay Detroit Edison at 7:30 p.m. at the Breslin Center. Today, on MCP’s Full Court Press, Toni Swinehart speaks to Head Coach Warren Stowe about the upcoming game. If the Orioles win Friday, they will compete in the finals on Saturday. 

A celebratory send-off will take place Friday beginning at 9:45 a.m. in the high school and middle school. The team bus will then receive an emergency vehicle escort through downtown and through the Ludington Elementary School campus before heading out of town. The public is encouraged to line up along Ludington Avenue to show support.
