HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 34-year-old Ludington woman was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for assault Saturday, Feb. 5, shortly after 11 p.m., according to Mason County Undersheriff Derrek Wilson.

“Deputies investigated an assault complaint that occurred in the 5000 block of West Decker Road,” said Wilson. “After a subsequent investigation, a 34-year-old Ludington female was arrested and lodged in the Mason County Jail.”

Friday, Feb. 4, 2022:

• 12:12 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 30-year-old Ludington man was arrested for disorderly conduct and malicious destruction to property, ​200 block of East Ludington Ave​nue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 7 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road near Dewey Road, Sherman Township.
• 2:14 p.m., (MCSO), deputies are investigating a retail fraud complaint that occurred in the 5000 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 3:15 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road near Groth Road, Victory Township.
• 8:11 p.m., (LPD), ​a 65-year-old Scottville woman was arrested for methamphetamine possession and for an outstanding failure to appear warrant for  methamphetamine possession issued by Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court, Delia Street and Ludington ​Avenue, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022:

• 2:20 a.m., (MCSO), alarm, 3000 block of West US 10, Amber Township.
• 7:05 a.m., (MCSO), alarm, 100 block of South Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
• 10 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway near US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022:

• 3:46 a.m., (MCSO), alarm, 8000 block of Young Road, Branch Township.
• 5:42 p.m., (MCSO, single-vehicle crash, no injury, Hansen Road near Dennis Road, Amber Township.
• 6:19 p.m., (LPD), a 40-year-old Montague man was arrested on several outstanding warrants, including: two contempt of court warrants with Muskegon County’s 60th District Court; a failure to appear warrant with Muskegon County’s 14th Circuit Court for receiving and concealing stolen property; a probation violation warrant with the 14th Circuit Court for resisting arrest; and a contempt of civil court warrant in Oceana County for failure to pay child support. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 7:15 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road near Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
