Horse dies following crash with car.

CUSTER TOWNSHIP — A vehicle collided with a horse Thursday evening, Dec. 16, on US 31 between Hansen and Decker roads. According to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, the driver of the vehicle was not injured. Initial dispatch information indicated that the driver had received minor injuries. The horse died as a result of the crash.

Emergency units responding included Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Scottville Fire Department, Custer Fire Department and Life EMS.
