LUDINGTON — A 57-year-old Grand Rapids man, who was out of prison on parole, was arrested Thursday, Nov. 25, after he allegedly slapped an emergency department nurse at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital about 8:35 a.m. According to Ludington Police Department Captain Steve Wietrzykowski, the man intentionally slapped his soda drink all over the nurse while she was attempting to take the man’s vital signs during his visit to the emergency department. The man was arrested and lodged in the Mason County Jail; his parole agent was contacted.
