GR woman arrested for drunk driving with 4 kids in car.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 40-year-old Grand Rapids woman was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office at 9:59 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, and charged with operating and vehicle while intoxicated/high blood alcohol content (“super drunk”) and child endangerment. 

The arrest occurred after 911 had received complaints about a reckless driver on US 31 freeway and US 10. According to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, a sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop at US 10-31 and Amber Road and found the driver to be under the influence of alcohol and also found four children, ages 3 to 9, in the vehicle.
