The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:
Friday, Oct. 8, 2021:
- 12:05 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road south of Forest Trail, Grant Township.
- 3:35 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Tallman Lake Road north of Decker Road, Sheridan Township.
- 2:21 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Dennis Road, Amber Township.
- 3:20 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 21-year-old Muskegon woman was arrested for assaulting/resisting/obstructing police after allegedly resisting arrest during a traffic stop for a traffic violation, US 10 near the Custer Township Hall, Custer Township.
- 5:50 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road east of Stephens Road, Sherman Township.
- 9:26 p.m., (MCSO), a 32-year-old Scottville man was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an assault, 200 block of East State Street, City of Scottville.
Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021:
- 3:29 p.m., (MCSO), a 46-year-old Baldwin man was arrested on two outstanding Van Buren County warrants following a traffic stop, Elm and State streets, City of Scottville. The warrants were for failure to appear on a civil charge and a criminal bench warrant.
- 10:03 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 46-year-old Sidney, Illinois man was arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants, Ludington Avenue and William Street, City of Ludington. The man was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
