GRANT TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office investigated a damaged property complaint Sunday, Sept. 12, shortly before 11:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Countyline Road. “The complainant reported someone had spray painted her vehicle and punctured the vehicle tires,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Friday, Sept. 10, 2021:

• 2:02 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 58-year-old Ludington man was arrested for a felony of assault by strangulation, following a 911 call by the man’s neighbor reporting an assault, 1500 block of North Dennis Rod, Amber Township.
• 2:51 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US10 west of the US 31 on-ramp, Amber Township.
• 8:51 pm., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Townline Road west of Quarterline Road, Victory Township.

Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021:

• 1:27 a.m., (MCSO), a 38-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop for second-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) and driving while license suspended (DWLS), US10 and Amber Road, Amber Township.
• 11:20 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 US 10, Amber Township.
• 11:23 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit and run crash, no injury, Quarterline Road south of Countyline Road, Grant Township.

Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021:

• 1:27 a.m., (MCSO), a 41-year-old Scottville woman was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop, Staffon Street near Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.
• 11:55 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 north of US 10, Amber Township.
• 3:02 pm., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road west of Anderson Road, Victory Township.
• 8:53 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 south of Millerton Road, Sherman Township.
