PM Highway bridge over US 31 to close for construction.

SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — The Pere Marquette Highway bridge over US 31 freeway, between Lattin and Anthony roads, will be closed for repairs beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7 through Oct. 22, 2021. 

The detour route is Oceana Drive (US 31 business route) to US-31 freeway to Pere Marquette Hwy.

The left lane of southbound US 31 bridge over the north branch of the Pentwater River, just north of Monroe Road, will be closed on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021. The lane closure will be in place until Nov. 12, 2021.  One lane of southbound US-31 will be open at all times.

Traffic impacts will be kept up-to-date on MDOT’s construction and traffic information website.
