Obituary: Patricia Knizewski, 86, of Scottville.

Patricia Lou Knizewski, 86, of Scottville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 27, 2021. She was born October 20, 1934 in Wyandotte to Emmett and Flora (Caton) O’Dell.  Patricia married Joseph Knizewski Sr. on October 8, 1969. 

Patricia’s proudest accomplishments were her children. She loved them and her life was blessed with the family that she and Joe created. All 16 of her children loved and admired her dearly. She loved to tell anyone who would listen how many children she had and that she had over 100 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other children who called her grandma. Her love for children had no boundaries. If you ask anyone who knew her, they would say she was a strong woman and that she had a sense of humor like no other! She was always trying to make someone laugh. She continually tried to share her love of life to others.

Patricia will be greatly missed by her husband, Joseph; her children, Charity Carroll, Shirley Carroll, Debbie Kremer, Walter (Patty) Carroll, Sheila (Doug) Castillo-Matthews, Robert (Netha) Carroll, Larry (Vicky) Carroll, Patricia (Pete) Kapala, Michael (Marsha) Knizewski, Rebecca (Mike) Gibson, and Sandy (Dan) Vipond; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her stepmother Pearl; her stepfather, Wilborn; her children, Ralph, Joseph, Faith, Hope, Sharon, and April; her siblings, Emmett, Jimmy, Donald, Daisy and Dixie; and her granddaughter, Candy.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held Monday, July 5, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at the Mason County Reformed Church. Patricia will be laid to rest at Riverton Cemetery.
