MCC Jazz Band receives top ratings.

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Central High School Jazz Band recently received straight 1 (top) ratings during a recent state jazz festival, held virtually. In addition, students Brandon Dunn and Wesley Stream were nominated by the judges as honorable mention all state band members.

“I’m proud of the accomplishments of this group of musicians,” said director Tom Thomas. “They have faced many obstacles over the past year and have overcome to receive these top ratings.”
