SCOTTVILLE — Today, on MCP’s Full Court Press, Toni Swinehart speaks with avid hiker and author Joan Young. Joan was the first woman to hike the entire North Country Trail, a 4,600-mile national trail that begins in central Vermont and ends in North Dakota. The trail travels through the eastern portion of Mason County. Joan has recently volunteered to help the City of Scottville restore its hiking trails at Riverside Park.
