LUDINGTON — The following activity recently took place in Mason County’s 79th District Court.
Felony arraignments
–Michelle Renee Patrick, 49, of 209 N. Emily St., Ludington, was arrested March 25 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance (narcotic/cocaine) and operating a vehicle while intoxicated or under controlled substance (OWI). Probable cause hearing: April 7 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
-Adam Wayne Nelson, 46, of 503 First St., Ludington, was arrested March 24 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of larceny in a building and fourth offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: April 7 at 1 p.m. Bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
Misdemeanor arraignments
-Ronald Bruce Stever, III, 28, of 3677 W. Victory Dr., Victory Township; March 13; Ludington Police Department (LPD); domestic violence. Pretrial: April 12 at 1 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
-Armando Gregorio Gutierrez, 31, of 2880 W. Polk Rd., Hart; March 27; Michigan State Police (MSP); failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Pretrial: April 7 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
-Lindsey Paige Klaston, 37, of 101 W. Melendy St., Ludington; March 25; LPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: April 5 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
-Doyle Paul Kenyon, 24, of 307 Fifth St, Apt. 1, Manistee; Jan. 26; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); larceny by conversion less than $200. Pretrial: April 5 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
Sentencings
-Noah Ross Blanton, 25, of 1260 Kirkwood St., Waterford, pleaded guilty March 30 to prohibited use of chemical agents and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year of probation; no drugs/alcohol/controlled substances/marijuana or inhalants; must complete outpatient counseling; and $310 in fines/costs.
Dismissals
-Jessica Jean Hernandez, 44, of 120 State St., Scottville, had a charge of failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed on March 30 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.
