LUDINGTON — On Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021 members of the Ludington Fire Department gathered at the fire station and paid tribute to Chief Jerry Funk, who retired earlier this month after 50 years of service on the department. Guests also included delegations from Hamlin Fire Department and Pere Marquette Township Fire Department, Mayor Steve Miller, Pastor Henrik Lidman and members of Funk’s family. The tribute ended with a parade of lights from Ludington Police Department and various Mason County fire departments.
