Home invasion charges top 79^th District Court arraignments

The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

Felonies

Daniel Bothwell

-Daniel Lee Bothwell, 44, of 2474 21^st St., Branch, was arrested Nov. 20 by Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of first degree home invasion. Probable cause hearing: Dec. 2 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash.

David Bothwell

-David Duane Bothwell, 44, of 801 E. Loomis St., Ludington, was arrested Nov. 23 by MCSO on felony charges of third degree home invasion and fourth offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Larson

-Howard Mark Larson, 35, of 5607 N. Stiles Rd., Victory Township, was arrested Nov. 20 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of bond absconding. Probable cause hearing: Dec. 2 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash.

Terrel

-Richard Robert Wayne Terrel, 40, of 2982 Lena Dr., Hamlin Township, was arrested Nov. 24 by LPD on felony charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder an interfering with an electronic communications device. Probable cause hearing: Dec. 9 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash.

Brooks

-Elrico James Brooks, 41, of 823 N. Benson Rd., Branch Township, was arrested Nov. 20 by Michigan State Police (MSP) on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon. Probable cause hearing: Dec. 2 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-River Lawrence Merrill, 24, of 910 W. Bradshaw, Scottville; Nov. 22; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); domestic violence. Pretrial: Dec. 7 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Howard Mark Larson, 35, of 5607 N. Stiles Rd., Victory Township; Nov. 20; MCSO; second offense domestic violence. Pretrial: Dec. 2 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.
