LUDINGTON — The annual Fish On for Freedom veterans fishing tournament has been cancelled for this year due to the current pandemic.

“The majority of the veterans that participate in the Fish On For Freedom event are of the age group whose health is at possible risk for the Covid- 19 virus,” said Myndi Dangler, spokesperson for the organization. “That is why, with careful consideration, the FOFF committee has decided to cancel this years event that was scheduled for June 19. We are saddened by this decision but know that it’s the best and healthiest choice for all of those involved. Please continue to follow the Fish On For Freedom Facebook page for all up to date information. We are excited for next year and can not wait to see everyone for the 2021 event.”
