MCC modifies meal delivery schedule.

SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central Schools has announced it is modifying its children’s meal distribution schedule. Meals will continue to be delivered free to all children up to age 18. Children do not have to be students of MCC. The meal delivery schedule will be reduced from five days a week to three days a week, at the same locations. Some times have changed also. Children will be provided with the same amount of meals. Monday pick up will include Monday and Tuesday meals; Wednesday pick up will include Wednesday and Thursday meals; Friday pick up will include Friday, Saturday and Sunday meals.

Schedule:

  • MCC Upper Elementary, 11 to 11:45 a.m.
  • Victory Baptist Church, 4353 N. Stiles Road, Victory Township, 11 to 11:30 a.m.
  • St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 3212 W. Kinney Road, Riverton Township, noon to 12:30 p.m.
  • Legend’s Taxidermy parking lot, 5089 N. US 31, Victory Township, 11 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Free Soil Community Center, 8480 N. Democrat St., Village of Free Soil, 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • Grant Township Fire Department, 835 E. Hoague Road, Grant Township, 12:30 to 1 p.m.
  • Branch Township Fire Department, 6697 E. US 10, Walhalla, 11 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Evergreen Church, 7396 S. Evergreen Road, Pleasant Plains Township, Lake County, noon to 12:30 p.m.

Meals are grab and go. Social distancing procedures should be followed.

Parents can pick up on behalf of children and families can pick up for other families’ children.
