LMTA continues to be available for essential services, drops Sunday runs.
LUDINGTON — Ludington Mass Transit Authority will be suspending its hours of service on Sundays due to low ridership. However, the LMTA will remain open with its regular service hours Monday through Saturday for essential services only. LMTA will also be practicing the social distancing guidelines as prescribed by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention to ensure successful containment efforts. All riders during the Governors Executive Order will receive free demand response ridership to help with containment efforts to the essential service destination.
Service schedule is Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with last call at 6:30 p.m. Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with last call at 3:30 p.m. Types of essential services include: Transportation to and from work; medical appointments/health care; groceries; pharmacies.
