Closings and cancellations, posted March 16, 2020.

Mason County Press has received the following cancellations or closings in response the coronavirus threat. This list may be updated. If you have a closing or cancellation to report, please email it to editor@mediagroup31.com. Any closings or cancellations placed in our social media comment sections will be removed.

• The West Michigan Community Mental Health governing board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 17 has been cancelled.
• The Fin and Feather Club of Mason County will be closing all trap and skeet activities effective immediately until April 3. Check Fin and Feather club website and Facebook for further announcements.
  
• Sandcastles Children Museum will be closed from Saturday, March 14 through Thursday, March 26.
• Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce office is closed through April 6.
• Mason County Historical Society winter speaker series event, March 19, has been cancelled.
• Mason County Central Schools and has suspended all athletic and recreation programs beginning Saturday, March 14 through April 5. All MCC athletic facilities will be closed during that period.
• Ludington Area School District, all school buildings and offices will be closed from 4 p.m. March 13 until Monday, April 6. This includes preschool programs. All recreation programs will also be closed including Baldwin Pool and any adult leagues or programs.
• Letha Fulton School of Dance has suspended all classes beginning Monday, March 16 and re-starting on Monday, April 6.
• The Community Table meals served on Tuesday evenings at the Scottville United Methodist Church will be postponed until further notice.
• Ludington Area Center for the Arts will be closed until Monday, April 6. Updates on rescheduling and refunds can be found by emailing Kali at info@ludingtonartscenter.org or Andy at director@ludingtonartscenter.org.
• Community Table Meals served at Community Church of Ludington on Tuesdays has been suspended. Check for updates on www.Facebook.com/CommunityTableLudington.
• Griswold Family Dentistry of Scottville is closing tentatively until April 6. The office will be available for emergency care only, call 231.757.4722.
• Mason County Courts are closed to non-essential services. See related story here.

• All Flipstar Gymnastics recreational classes and team practices are canceled through April 5. Classes will resume April 6.

• West Shore Community College Recreation Center and ice arena are closed. See details here.
• Safe Harbor Credit Union lobby will be closed beginning March 17. Drive-through, online, phone and ATM services are available. See related story.

Churches

• Cornerstone Baptist Church (http://cbcludington.com/) in Ludington will be postponing in-person services and activities until Sunday, April 5. Live-streaming of services can be seen on Facebook starting this Sunday through April 5.

• The United Methodist Church of Ludington has cancelled all activities until April. The building will be open for the women’s AA meetings Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

• Our Savior Lutheran Church of Scottville has cancelled all services until April 6.
• Community Church of Ludington has cancelled Sunday services until further notice. Church office is also closed.
• St. Simon Catholic Church will not be celebrating weekend Liturgies through March 29. Faith Formation classes are cancelled until April 6.  Weekday Masses will continue to be held at 8:30 a.m.
