The Scoop: Hoops for Hope.
LUDINGTON- On Friday, Feb. 28, the Ludington High School varsity boys and girls basketball teams will be hosting a “Hoops for Hope” benefit when they take on the Orchard View Cardinals at the Hawley Gymnasium.
All donations will be used to assist families locally who are fighting cancer. The teams have been raising funds and collecting sponsors for the benefit. Many local businesses have donated to a raffle that will take place during the game. There will also be opportunities to enter the raffle by paying to shoot baskets or just through fiscal donations. This is the last home game for both the girls and boys teams this year. The girls game begins at 6 p.m. and the boys game will follow.
The Scoop is a presentation of West Shore Bank and Betten Baker Ford of Ludington.
