79th District Court sentencings, posted Nov. 14, 2019.
LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
-Antonio Gonzales Perez, Jr., 50, of 3712 W. Hidden Forest Dr., Amber Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 5 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must continue current counseling program; and $1,375 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).
-Carrie Ann Carr, 39, of 123 W. State St., Scottville, pleaded guilty Nov. 5 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to 90 days in jail; must have an anger management evaluation; no contact with victim; must seek and maintain employment; and $285 in fines/costs.
-Jacob Riley Odekrik, 26, of 2800 N. Peterson Rd., Victory Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 5 to using a controlled substance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must continue substance abuse counseling; driver’s license suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days; and $1,015 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy was dismissed.
-Robert Paul Caruso, 42, of 9223 Sandy Ct., Mears, pleaded guilty Aug. 28 to third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must not enter Walmart; must get fingerprints taken; $1,095 in fines/costs and $1,404 in restitution. May perform 60 hours of community service as a credit towards fines/costs. A charge of first degree retail fraud was dismissed.
-Robert Christopher Williams, 35, of 4663 N. Spaulding Ave., Apt. 3, Spaulding, Illinois, pleaded guilty Nov. 6 to breaking and entering and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana; subject to random PBTs; must continue current counseling program; and $595 in fines/costs.
