Suspect arrested for stealing crossbow.

RIVERTON TOWNSHIP – A 20-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for allegedly breaking into a garage in the 4300 block of South Morton Road and stealing a crossbow valued at $700, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The victim reported the crime Wednesday at approximately 11 p.m. “Through the investigation, deputies learned a 20-year-old Ludington man was possibly responsible, and upon making contact with him arrested him and recovered the crossbow,” Cole said.

– 1:02 a.m., (MCSO), a 37-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS), US 10 and Dennis Road, Amber Township.
– 5:16 a.m., (MCSO), a 57-year-old Saint Joseph, Michigan man was arrested for domestic assault by strangulation following a 911 call, Tamarac Drive, Hamlin Township. The man allegedly choked his wife during an argument, Cole said.
