Obituary: Lucille Strzynski, 94, Ludington.

Lucille Strzynski, 94, of Ludington, formerly of Flint, passed on June 7, 2019 at Oakview Medical Care Facility surrounded by her family.

Lucille Thibeaut was born on October 28, 1924 to Napolean and Edwardine(Belland) Thibeaut. She married Casimer “Willie” Strzynski on September 22, 1944 in Flint. He preceded her in death in January of 1993.

Lucille was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church in Ludington. Lucille loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and watching the Detroit Tigers.

Surviving are her children, Charlene(Robert) Farrar of Flint, Janielle(Richard) Maike of Grand Haven, Denise (Timothy) Whipkey of Ludington, Doug (Cindy) Strzynski of Scottville, and Dawn Videan of Lowell; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Lucille was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

A Mass from the Order of Christian Funeral will be held of Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. at St. Simon Catholic Church, with Rev. Wayne B. Wheeler, Jr. presiding.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
