Obituary: Aggie Bellanger, 79, Ludington.
Aggie Bentz Bellanger passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Ludington, in the same bedroom where she was born 79 years ago.
Aggie was born on November 11, 1939, the daughter of Herman and Marie Bentz. She attended Ludington Area Schools, class of 1958, and graduated from Ludington Beauty Academy. She raised her family in Ludington, working at Pandrol Jackson as a machinist, then for Harsco Rail in the electrical department, retiring in 2002 after 22 years of service.
Aggie enjoyed raising her girls and did much traveling with her brother Chris Bentz, touring Germany several times and spent a lot of time sightseeing in London and Hawaii. She enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, and visiting with friends.
Aggie is survived by her marvelous husband of 16 years, Fred D. Bellanger; daughters, Cindy Zwinger, Julie (Mike) Samuels, and Terri (Keith) Quillan; grandchildren, Heather, Tyler, Nick, and Luke; great-grandchildren, Damon, Haven, Hunter, Bowen, Cassidy, and Austin; step-children, Brenda, Anita, Diane, Joan, Peggy, and Fred Jr., and their families; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Aggie was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Marie Bentz; son, Rusty Johnson; daughter, Pam Kipen; granddaughter, Holly Ann Laubach; brother, Chris Bentz; and sister; Kathy Follett.
A memorial luncheon will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion in Ludington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
