A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 6. Snow showers are expected to increase in coverage and intensity throughout the evening. Falling snow and some blowing snow will reduce visibilities to less than a mile. Heavier snow showers will migrate closer to the lakeshore overnight. Additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected. Wind chills can range from 5 above zero to 5 below zero.
