Man pulls keys from ignition during ‘rolling’ domestic.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – A 29-year-old Ludington man was arrested on charges of domestic violence, reckless driving and resisting and obstructing a police officer after allegedly pulling the keys out of the ignition of the vehicle his “significant other” was driving on US 10 in front of Walmart Monday, Jan. 28, around 6 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“Following a 911 call, responding deputies located a vehicle parked in the roadway and learned the male passenger had removed the keys from the vehicle while the female driver was operating the vehicle westbound on US 10,” Cole said.
“The suspect was arrested for reckless driving and domestic violence. The subject refused (to be) patted down and struggled with deputies during the booking procedure,” said Cole.

– 4:50 p.m., a 54 year-old Scottville woman was arrested for retail fraud, 200 block of South Main Street, City of Scottville.
– 5:34 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive near Bryant Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 7:28 p.m., a 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, Wildwood, Amber Township.
– 8:30 p.m., vehicle slide-off, no damage/no injury, US 31 freeway and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
