A winter weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service from 1 p.m. today to 10 a.m. Wednesday. The forecast is calling for mixed precipitation with snow developing this afternoon and lasting into the evening. Later in the evening and into the early hours of Wednesday morning, snow is expected to be mixed with light freezing rain. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of up to 1/10th of an inch are expected.
