LUDINGTON – Mason County sheriff’s deputies didn’t have to search far last weekend for a local man and woman wanted on warrants. They came to the jail to visit inmates and both of them ended up in jail, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The first arrest occurred Saturday Dec. 8, at 10:10 a.m. when a 32-year-old Ludington man was arrested on four outstanding warrants issued by the Ludington Police Department. “He had come into the Mason County Sheriff’s Office lobby to visit an inmate,” Cole said.

The second arrest occurred Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3:35 p.m. when a 33-year-old Fountain woman was arrested on two outstanding warrants issued by LPD. She, too, came to the sheriff’s office lobby to visit an inmate.
