Obituary: Lynnette Oomen, 68, Pentwater.

Lynnette M. Oomen, 68, of Pentwater passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018. She was born November 15, 1949 in Muskegon to Alton and Lillian (Vunck) Ramthun. Lynnette graduated from Scottville High School in 1967.

She was very involved with the Scottville Area Senior Center where she loved to play pool and cards. Lynnette also enjoyed fishing and kayaking. She loved to watch the wildlife on the lake and campfires.  Genealogy was one of her passions, she spent hours researching her family history. In her younger days, she also enjoyed water skiing.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Richard Oomen, Jennifer (Joe) Mickevich, Tara (Keith) McKeown Gerrans, Curt Oomen, and Kathy (Chad) Troost of Fountain; her grandchildren, Ryann Oomen, Joey and Kaitlyn Mickevich, Josh and Morgan McKeown Gerrans, and Michael and Faith Troost, and her sister Alta Petersen.

Besides her parents, Lynnette was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Quinn.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington. Family will greet friends beginning at 5 p.m.
