Mary Jane Straub, 84, of Ludington, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018. 

Mary was born on November 7, 1934 in Oscoda, the daughter of James and Bertha (maiden name) McGillis.  She graduated from Oscoda High School in 1953 and was wed to Arlie “Jack” Straub on February 6, 1956. Mary owned and operated Ludington Produce for 15 years, retiring in 1998.  Mary enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her husband, Arlie “Jack” Straub; son, David Straub; grandchildren, Chrystal Straub, Branden Straub, Tracy Straub, and Eric Ashley; and siblings, Jim McGillis, Barbara Walters, and Judy Hills.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha McGillis; daughter, Kathy Straub; and brother-in-law, William T. (Ann) O’Neal.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, with visitation staring at 10 a.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
