LUDINGTON – A 43-year-old Idlewild woman faces serving four months up front of a one-year discretionary jail term after pleading guilty in 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, Oct. 16, to a felony of receiving and concealing stolen property $1,000-$20,000.
Anna Marie Hawke, of 137 E. US 10, testified that she received and concealed tools, power tools and electronics last March in Fountain.
“I knew it was in the house, and I didn’t say nothing about it,” she testified before Judge Susan K. Sniegowski. When asked by the judge if she had reason to believe it was stolen, Hawke answered, “yes.”
Hawke’s sentence will include fines costs and restitution. She will also be ordered to serve probation, which will include a substance abuse evaluation.
Restitution totaling $2,463 is joint and several with two co-defendants, said Mason County Prosecutor Paul Spaniola.
Sentencing is set for Dec. 4 at 2:15 p.m.
