Obituary: Genevieve Faye Batchelor, 86, of Fountain

Genevieve Faye Batchelor, 86, of Fountain passed away peacefully Thursday, September 20, 2018. She was born July 20, 1932 to Harry Richard and Helen Elizabeth (Shoue) Wiesner in New Carlisle, Ind. Jenny married Dennis Dale Batchelor on July 5, 1951 in New Carlisle, Ind. Together they raised four children.

Jenny was a great mother and homemaker. She loved watching wildlife, fishing, and traveling. Jenny also enjoyed flowers, puzzle books, and reading her bible. She and Dennis often had friends and family over for get-togethers.

Jenny will be greatly missed by her husband of 67 years, Dennis, her children, Reba Olsen of Niles and John Batchelor of Fountain; her grandchildren, Jimmie, Ronette, Michael, Joshua, Amber, Dale, and Dillon; her 13 great-grandchildren, and her two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Frank (Patsy) Wiesner of Sun City, Ariz.; and her sister, Shirlene Gaddey of Sun City, Ariz.

Besides her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her daughter, Loretta Ketchum; her son, Dennis Batchelor Jr.; her siblings, Dolores Szymkowiak, Harry Wiesner, and Darrel Wiesner.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
