Obituary: Ann Roberts, 68, Ludington.
Ann Elizabeth Wilson Roberts of Ludington and formerly of West Bloomfield died of esophageal cancer on July 5, 2018. She succumbed to cancer after valiantly fighting it for 3 ½ years. Bravely choosing the alternative method of treatment, Ann did it all “her way”. She was 68-years-old, born in Detroit and married William E. Roberts Jr. in 1978.
Ann had not one but two successful careers in business. The first was managing people and selling personal insurance. The second was selling residential real estate, an endeavor she enjoyed success at.
She was always ready to help raise money for worthwhile projects. Ann did this for Safari Club International, Birmingham-Bloomfield Jaycees, and lastly the Epworth Women’s Auxiliary.
Ann was an outgoing vibrant individual who loved life and people. She inspired many with her strength, tenacity and compassion.
Living with Ann was always “AWA”, adventures with Ann, and quite a wonderful adventure it was.
Ann Elizabeth Roberts is survived by William, her husband of 40 years, daughter, Jennifer Ann (Andrew) Cailteux, son, William E. (Julie) Roberts III, grandchildren, Tyler James Cailteux, Brady William Cailteux, William John Roberts, and Madelyn Julia Roberts.
According to Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington.
