Miller appointed to MCC school board.

SCOTTVILLE — Jennifer Miller was appointed to the Mason County Central Board of Education Monday during the board’s regular monthly meeting. The board seat was left vacant after the resignation of Randy Saxton, who has served in that position for 26 years.

Miller, along with her husband Steve, resides in Lake Township, Lake County, which is the eastern portion of the MCC school district. She is a 1994 graduate of MCC. Her son, Sam, graduated in 2017, and her daughter, Rachel, is a junior.

Miller was one of two people who applied for the position that expires the end of this year. Barry Pleiness of Eden Township was the other applicant.
