LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
– Gavin Ray Routh, 23, of 525 S. LaSalle Rd., Amber Township, pleaded “no contest” June 19 to attempted fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) and attempted aggravated indecent exposure and was sentenced to 240 days in jail with credit for 240 days served; jail term is concurrent with jail time in another matter; one year discretionary jail for two years; and no contact with victim. Charges of accosting a child for immoral purposes, fourth-degree CSC (two counts) and aggravated indecent exposure were dismissed.
– Nicholas David Blough, 32, of 207 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded “no contest” June 19 to trespassing and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year.
– Kimberly Elaine Surridge, 25, of 526 Ohio St., Rochester, Indiana, was found guilty June 25 of disorderly person – jostling and was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for nine days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and 30 hours of community service in lieu of $285 in fines and costs.
– Zachery Scott Wehner, 25, no address listed, pleaded “no contest” June 20 to disorderly person – jostling, disorderly person – disturbing the peace and trespassing and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 18 days served for counts one and two and 30 days in jail with credit for 18 days served for count three. Jail term for counts two and three is concurrent to time imposed on count 1. One felony count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police was dismissed.
– Robert William Peters, 56, of 3743 E. Hansen Rd., Custer Township, was found guilty June 19 of trespassing and was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for six months and $285 in fines and costs. One count of improper possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle was dismissed.
– Timothy Norman Scribner, 52, of 4075 Rue De Carolyn, Oxford, Michigan, was found guilty June 21 of possession of a fish without a license and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.
– Anthony Wayne Riley, 30, of 505 N. Main St., Scottville, was found guilty June 25 of improper plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $175 in fines and costs.
– James Harold Larsen, 77, of 6973 W. Abrahamson Rd., Hamlin Township, was found guilty June 21 of refusal to obey a police officer and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.
